We’re proud to share our recently completed project on Lanark Road, Edinburgh, where elegance and craftsmanship came together to create a truly standout interior.

For this home, we supplied and installed premium-quality American Black Walnut flooring, a hardwood known for its deep, rich tones and timeless character. The project featured two distinct styles to define the spaces with elegance and precision:

Hallway – Herringbone Perfection

In the hallway, we installed American Black Walnut herringbone parquet flooring, a luxurious and classic choice that enhances the entrance with a sense of sophistication. The natural colour variation of black walnut adds depth and warmth, while the herringbone pattern provides dynamic visual movement and structure.

Living Room – Rare 80mm Narrow Planks

The living room was fitted with bespoke-manufactured, narrow 80mm-wide engineered wood American Black Walnut planks. These rare-width boards are not commonly used, making this installation particularly unique and tailored. Their slim profile gives the space a refined, contemporary aesthetic, while still celebrating the natural beauty and grain of the walnut.

Stair Cladding – Seamless Transitions

To complete the look and ensure a seamless flow throughout, we clad three steps using matching narrow walnut planks along with custom-made stair nosing crafted specifically for this project. The result is a clean, uninterrupted transition between levels, showcasing both our attention to detail and dedication to high-quality finishes.
